The Event Venue


The event venue is situated at Södra Frihamnspiren, 1 kilometre from Gothenburg Central Station. The same event venue was used for the Volvo Ocean Race last summer. It is a unique, 93.000 m2 event venue, easily accessed by foot, bicycle or public transport (read more below).

HOW TO GET HERE?

Bus and tram
Stops: Frihamnen (tram) and Frihamnsporten (bus). More information at vasttrafik.se.

Ferry
A free ferry will go every 10 minutes between Stenpiren and Frihamnspiren when the event area is open. The first ferry leaves at at 10.00 from Stenpiren every day. The last ferry leaves Frihamnspiren 23.10 on Saturday, 22.10 Sunday-Monday and 18.10 on Tuesday.

Car
If you arrive by car , we refer to parking in for the example Nordstan Mall or at Lindholmen in close proximity to public transportation.
Disabled parking is available outside the event area.

Private boat
There will not be any moorings for private boats at the event area and private boat traffic is not permitted in Frihamnen.

Food and drinks

If you get hungry there are plenty of dining options on site. Both simple street food, restaurants, ice cream and candy. All food vendors serve at least one vegetarian dish and have been encouraged to communicate their choices for allergy sufferers. On site you will also find a European food market. There are water taps where you can refill your own bottle with tap water.

Restrooms are located at several places on the event area.

AVAILABILITY

The area is handicap friendly with ramps to the exhibition tents and toilets and parking for the disabled. The ships are built in an old way, which unfortunately means that it can be difficult to get on board the ships if you are disabled. However, the ship Lord Nelson is accessible for the disabled.
